Join us today and be a part of a team that is redefining the future of media.\nPart-Time Weekend Operations Generalist\nWho we're looking for:\nWe’re looking for a Part-Time Operations Generalist to help us grow the Rogers Sports & Media brand and connect with our Citytv and OMNI audiences by bringing their skills and experience to help execute field camera work, editing and control room production.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOperating ENG camera for live and taped segments.\nBasic editing of footage for news segments on Grass Valley (Edius/Stratus) and Premier Pro editing systems.\nOperating control room automation for live production.\nDigitizing footage; paying close attention to naming conventions.\nProvide production support to various initiatives and special programs.\nRemain conversant with all departmental production equipment.\nEnsure that programs and segments meet company and industry standards for content and quality.\nWork with Production Engineering on equipment faults and failures.\nEditing and posting of media to Social Media and other online content.\nOccasional Production Assistant duties in the Production Control Room.\nOccasional writing and producing duties if required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat you'll bring:\nIn-depth knowledge of editing, shooting and technical facilities.\nExperience with ENG/EFP and Studio production including editing both linear and non-linear, camera work.\nExperience with GV editing systems, Premier Pro, and the Adobe line of products is preferred.\nDirecting experience with Ross, Overdrive/Inception will be considered an asset\nMust be highly motivated, show initiative and creativity.\nSelf-starter; well organized and detail oriented; Ability to prioritize effectively.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nTake direction and handle stressful situations well.\nAble to meet tight deadlines.\nValid Drivers License (non-GDL).\nAbility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe believe in investing in our people and helping them reach their potential as valuable members of our team.
