Our high calcium, finely ground products are used as animal feed supplements and agricultural lime throughout the Midwest and the Southeast. Our material is used to help make American industries, such as coal mining, safer by acting as a flame retardant and dust collector in underground mines. We also support the manufacturing industry as a necessary ingredient in the production of glass, shingles and other products vital to America’s economy. This position offers a union environment with excellent pay, pension, and benefits.\nThe successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:\nOperate and monitor an aggregates plant facility\nRoutine equipment/plant maintenance\nInvolved with plant improvement projects\nInspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant\nInspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment\nPerform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies\nPerform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management\nOperate equipment and tools with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency\nProperly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nMust have a dedication to safe work practices at all times\nPrevious maintenance experience\nExperience welding and cutting is preferred\nMechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed\nMust be willing to work a regular evening shift (10 p.m. - 6 a.m.)\nMust be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed\nMust be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions\nTeam player attitude\nMust pass pre-employment drug screening\nThis position within Rogers Group offers a union environment with excellent pay, pension, safety equipment, and other benefits.\nRGI EEO Statement\nIt is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc. to recruit, hire, and promote individuals based on demonstrated merit and qualifications.
