What You Will Own:
Rogo’s Forward Deployed team consists of former bankers and investors who guide top financial institutions on how to apply AI in their day-to-day workflows and long-term strategy. You’ll lead full-cycle client engagements, building consultative relationships and tailoring demos that resonate with investors and deal teams. Similar to how Solutions Architects secure the “technical win,” you’ll drive the “financial win” by translating Rogo’s capabilities into real impact across banking and investing use cases.
Based in Tokyo, you’ll be the face of Rogo to Japan’s leading financial institutions, from securities houses to asset managers: managing the day-to-day relationship and guiding them as they deploy Rogo.
Engage with bankers/investors at existing and prospective customers to understand and address their workflow challenges, and then explain and demonstrate the value of Rogo’s AI solutions to address them.
Establish yourself as a credible expert in solving customers’ specific problems (e.g., public company financial research, M&A advisory, company diligence workflows).
Lead product demonstrations and training sessions in Japanese, tailored to the context of various financial firms, asking questions to validate how Rogo can add value and then showcasing Rogo’s features and benefits relevant to each prospective client’s potential use cases.
Partner with the marketing team to develop content that will resonate with bankers/investors, tailored to the unique needs of their practice areas and client types.
Act as the “Voice of the Customer,” using your industry perspective to help the broader sales team develop and implement more effective strategies and synthesize feedback from Japanese clients for the product team through a financial services lens.
Tailor the introduction of new solutions to specific customer needs.
Further the market perception of Rogo as uniquely credible, substantive, and helpful in applying its AI solutions to make bankers/investors better at their jobs.
Conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors.
What You Will Need:
3+ years of front-office experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity firm, consulting firm, or hedge fund, ideally in Japan
Native or business-level Japanese (spoken and written) and professional English. You will run client meetings, demos and training in Japanese and work internally in English.
Executive engagement skills and presence, with an ability to establish strong relationships with key decision-makers and build credibility at all levels.
Outstanding presentation skills, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos.
Hands-on fluency with AI: you already use LLMs in your own work and have a clear view on what they can and can’t yet do for financial professionals.
Sales or LP-facing experience, including business development and/or experience directly managing banking client matters and client relationships.
