We design and manufacture complete systems in-house-RF, antenna, PCB, digital, and DSP-giving our engineers end-to-end ownership of the technology and a direct line of sight from algorithm to deployed system.\nWe’re early, we’re growing fast, and the people who join us now will shape both the technology and the company.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for an antenna engineer to lead the design and test of antennas that are part of advanced phased array systems for payloads and ground terminals. You will take full ownership of the design, test and integration of antenna and microwave components, co-designed with front-end modules (PA/LNA/beamformer).\nYou will own the final test/verification of fully functional phased array products before they are deployed in the field, so you will work with RFIC, digital and software engineers throughout the whole product cycle (system design, manufacturing, production etc.)\nResponsibilities\nDesign phased array antennas; antenna element, feed structures, integration to front-end modules and relevant microwave components in printed circuit boards\n\nFull ownership of simulation, fabrication, testing and troubleshooting of passive and active antenna/array prototypes.\n\nContribute to software development and test of fully functional (analog or digital) phased arrays\n\nContribute to the integration of the products into various platforms (ground, drone, satellite etc.) of customers.\n\nWork with RF/digital/software engineers on high level systems design of various products.\n\nProvide hands-on support through product life cycle.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline\n\n2+ years of research or development experience in the areas of RF and antennas (internship and thesis acceptable)\n\n1+ years of experience using one of the 3D EM simulation tools: CST, HFSS, FEKO etc.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of work experience in the areas of RF and antennas or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience or PhD degree (in electrical engineering with research work on RF or antennas)\n\nExperience with basic antenna concepts: dipole/patch/slot antenna elements and feed techniques, antenna array theory, planar antenna array design, gain/directivity/radiation pattern\n\nExperience with basic RF concepts: impedance matching, smith chart, power handling metrics (IIP2, IMD), microwave network analysis\n\nFamiliarity with antenna measurement techniques (such as anechoic chamber, near field and far-field measurements etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with antenna prototyping tools and techniques\n\n1+ years of programming experience in Python, C#, C++, or MATLAB\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced, start-up atmosphere with extreme ownership.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\nAdditional Notes\nThis position requires access to technology and technical data subject to U.S. export control regulations (ITAR/EAR). Applicants must be U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) or otherwise eligible to access export-controlled information without a license.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3221,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":5,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"United States","iso":"US","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T14:53:40Z"}],"liveness":{"score":54,"band":"ok","label":"Likely open","p_open":1,"p_active":0.721,"p_room":0.75,"age_days":34,"expected_fill_days":41,"reasons":["conf:1","velocity","win:late"],"computed_at":"2026-10-02T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/roguebeam-antenna-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/roguebeam-antenna-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-03T03:35:01Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":3501,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":1499,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-04T00:00:00Z"}}}
