SAP SF Pre Sales - Consultant

ROLE SUMMARY

The SuccessFactors Pre-Sales Consultant partners with the sales, and delivery teams to win new business and expand existing accounts across Rolling Arrays' Malaysian and regional portfolio. The role owns the technical win - translating client HR challenges into compelling, outcome-led SAP SuccessFactors solutions through discovery, tailored demonstrations, value framing, proposals, and RFP responses.

Success is measured by demo-to-opportunity conversion, the quality of solution design, and the ability to position the full SuccessFactors suite - alongside Rolling Arrays Technology’s complementary products and change-management strengths - credibly to both HR practitioners and executive buyers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead solution discovery workshops to understand client HR processes, pain points, and transformation goals.
• Design and deliver tailored, persona-based (“day-in-the-life”) SAP SuccessFactors demonstrations across the full suite.
• Build and configure demo environments and proof-of-concept scenarios that reflect client-specific requirements.
• Frame solutions around measurable business outcomes, ROI, and value realisation - selling outcomes, not features.
• Own the end-to-end technical response to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders - leading solution scoping, effort estimation, and the written proposal narrative, and coordinating inputs from delivery and commercial teams to produce compelling, win-ready submissions.
• Develop solution blueprints, scoping documents, and value propositions in partnership with sales and delivery.
• Position solutions with adoption and value realisation in mind, drawing on RA's change-management and customer-adoption strengths.
• Position complementary Rolling Arrays Technology offerings (e.g. Reimburse, epfile) where they close gaps in the client's HR landscape.
• Support commercial proposals with accurate scoping of modules, integrations, and implementation effort - ensuring what is sold is deliverable within RA's operating model.
• Act as the trusted SuccessFactors subject-matter expert in client conversations, from HR working level to C-suite.

Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 4 years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors in implementation, consulting, or pre-sales.
• Working knowledge across the full SuccessFactors suite - Employee Central, Performance & Goals (PMGM), Recruiting (RCM), Onboarding (ONB), and Compensation.
• Strong demonstration and storytelling ability - able to make the product resonate with both practitioner and executive audiences.
• Experience contributing to RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals.
• Ability to articulate business value and ROI, not just product functionality.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across cultures and seniority levels.
• Self-directed, comfortable owning the technical win in a fast-moving sales cycle.

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Hands-on configuration experience in one or more SuccessFactors modules - a strong differentiator that adds credibility in demos and scoping.
• SAP SuccessFactors module certification(s).
• Familiarity with Malaysian statutory / localisation requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
• Exposure to HR transformation projects in the Malaysian / Southeast Asian market.
• Familiarity with integration concepts (e.g. SAP CPI) and adjacent HR-tech products.

SUCCESS MEASURES

• Demo-to-opportunity conversion rate.
• Pipeline influenced and technical-win rate on supported deals.
• Quality and turnaround of proposals, RFP responses, and solution designs.
• Stakeholder feedback from sales, delivery, and clients.

ADDITIONAL

• Travel: regional client-facing role; expect periodic travel across Southeast Asia.
