And it’s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world’s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.\nWhat you will be doing:\nOperate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840 D Controllers according to instructions, routings, control plans, production requirements, plans and diagrams\nStudy machining instructions, routings, control plans, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequences of operations, complex machine setups, and tooling requirements\nSelect the appropriate tools, and materials to be used in preparation of cubic engine components\nSet up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations\nCheck precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, fixed and telescoping gauges, templates and fixtures, and adjust according to quality control plans\nBasic Requirements:\n2 years in a mechanical, maintenance or machining trade school or equivalent Associate’s Degree; or 3 years of experience in a heavy-duty machining environment\n“Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.” \nPreferred Requirements:\nIntermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (preferred SIEMENS 840 D Controllers) machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nIntermediate knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics and their applications\nBasic ability to interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and operate scanning devices for system communications\nBasic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods (Quality Alerts, Second Checks, etc.) \nBasic knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations or standards \nMental & Physical Requirements :\nThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
