This will include drafting and review through to execution and management of procurement contracts, NDAs, and related documentation. This role ensures all contracts are accurate, compliant, and executed efficiently, enabling the business and its suppliers to operate with speed, confidence, and control. As a key partner to Procurement, Legal, and business stakeholders, you will champion service excellence, agility, and continuous improvement in every aspect of delivery\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage the contracting team providing clear direction and purpose for the contracting services team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility and high performance.\nOversee the end-to-end contracting lifecycle including drafting, reviewing, amending and executing contracts and NDAs.\nSupport a customer-focused service model by providing timely, responsive and value-driven contracting support to Procurement, Legal and business stakeholders.\nApply approved templates, playbooks and clause libraries to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with company standards\nEnsure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements\nImplement governance frameworks and controls to monitor compliance and mitigate risks\nBuild trusted relationships with Procurement, Legal and business stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor and problem solver\nCommitted to operational rigour.\nDelivery of cost savings and value creation.\nCertified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent experience in continuous improvement methodologies.\nStrong stakeholder engagement, negotiation and communication skills.\nExperience in resolving operational issues and managing escalations through root cause analysis.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions.\n\nPosition requirements:\n5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management in the aerospace or defence sector.\nProven experience in leading contract teams.\nHands-on experience with leading procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa and Ivalua.\nStrong understanding of contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation and execution.\nAttention to detail and analytical thinking, with the ability to identify errors, risks and inconsistencies in contract language or process.\nDemonstrate real life examples of driving efficiencies and making operational improvements.\nUnderstanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks, audit readiness and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence.\nExposure to global procurement operations, including cross-border contracting and supplier governance.\nOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
