As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.\nRole Summary\nThe Digital Project Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of digital projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and budgets. This role combines project management expertise with financial administration, governance oversight, and procurement review to drive efficiency and accountability across digital initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Management:\nLead portfolio-level oversight across a diverse set of Digital programmes, maintaining a clear view of plan, budget, risks, dependencies, benefits and priorities.\nBring together complex information from multiple programmes and translate it into clear portfolio-level insight, recommendations and actions.\nWork with Delivery Managers to understand delivery performance, emerging risks and key dependencies, providing appropriate challenge and support.\nIdentify cross-programme dependencies, conflicts and opportunities and ensure these are actively managed.\nChair portfolio governance and reporting, ensuring that senior stakeholders have an accurate and timely view of portfolio performance.\nProactively identify areas requiring escalation and ensure that decisions are taken at the appropriate level.\nSupport the development and implementation of portfolio processes, standards and ways of working that improve visibility, decision-making and delivery effectiveness.\nProvide clear and concise communication to senior stakeholders, adapting the level of detail and message to the audience.\nFinance Tracking & Budget Management:\nOversee project budgets, tracking actual vs. forecasted expenditures to maintain financial control.\nProvide regular financial reports, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.\nWork closely with finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.\nProcurement & Purchase Order Administration:\nReview and approve purchase orders related to digital projects, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.\nMaintain accurate records of purchases orders, ensuring financial accountability and process efficiency.\nKey Skills & Experience\nProven experience leading digital projects, preferably within a corporate or enterprise setting.\nExperience in budget tracking and financial reporting.\nKnowledge of governance frameworks and compliance\nFamiliarity with procurement processes, including purchase order management and vendor negotiations.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.\nProficiency in project management\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.\nPMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is desirable.\nExperience in a technology-driven or digital transformation environment.\nRegional Benefits:\nGenerous Annual Leave\nRetirement Savings through the Rolls-Royce Retirement Savings Trust\nGroup Life Assurance provides for a lump sum benefit if you die whilst employed by Rolls-Royce\nGroup Income Protection provides an income in the event that you are unable to work due to illness or injury\nYour Shares: Matched is a simple way to own Rolls-Royce shares and invest in our future, together.
