This includes the verification of individual control units, subsystem and system-level integration, and alignment with the wider submarine platform.\nYou will play an integral role in ensuring the high-integrity reactor control system performs to specification and delivers sustainable performance in support of the Royal Navy for decades to come.\nWhy join Rolls-Royce?\nAt Rolls-Royce we are proud to be a business that has truly helped to shape the modern world and are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.\nBy joining Rolls-Royce, you'll have the opportunity to work on world-class solutions, supported by a culture that believes individuality is our greatest strength, and all perspectives, experiences and backgrounds help us innovate and enable our high-performance culture\nWhat you will be doing:\nYou will be responsible for delivering critical V&V processes, tools and test artefacts to verify the system, including:\nGenerating V&V processes and tools for testing and analysis of test evidence.\nTaking ownership of the verification of one or more EC&I products.\nReviewing requirements and allocating appropriate verification methods.\nDeveloping algorithm emulators, test procedures and test scripts.\nDesigning, specifying, deploying, operating and maintaining bespoke test rigs and sensor simulators.\nConducting testing of EC&I equipment and compiling verification evidence and reports.\nWorking closely with commissioning teams to support the deployment of equipment onto boats.\nWho we’re looking for:\nAt Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.\nDegree qualified in Electronic, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, Software Engineering, Physics or a related discipline.
