This includes balance-of-plant engineering, project technical execution, site supervision, commissioning, and coordination with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure successful delivery of power generation projects.\nThis role requires strong technical knowledge in diesel/gas engines and electrical power systems, hands-on project and site experience, and the ability to balance technical solutions with commercial considerations.\nWhat you will be doing:\nSales & Pre-Execution Support\nSupport sales engineering on balance-of-plant design topics and best practices\nShare lessons learned to support future project pursuits\nOrder Execution\nTake over awarded orders from Sales and execute technical scope with the Project Manager.\nBalance technical solutions against project budget and commercial requirements.\nWork with internal teams, suppliers and contractors to fulfil contractual obligations.\nPrepare and provide technical drawings, calculations, manuals and documentation.\nCoordinate factory and supplier deliverables and validate technical proposals.\nFinalize balance-of-plant design and raise purchase requisitions.\nIntegrate all balance-of-plant scope into final product delivery.\nEnsure compliance with customer requirements and international / local standards.\nSupport subsidiaries and partners with technical guidance during site execution.\nConduct technical presentations and training.\nSite Execution & Commissioning\nProvide onsite technical support including installation, supervision and commissioning\nEnsure successful plant integration and functionality\nOthers\nStay updated on technical developments in the market and internal products.\nPerform overseas travel as required.\nUndertake special assignments when delegated.\nPosition requirements:\nUniversity degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum 5 years technical experience in diesel/gas engine or power generation industry.\nHands-on experience in regional project execution, installation, site supervision and commissioning of diesel gensets.\nKnowledge of electrical power systems, genset control systems and engineering calculations.\nUnderstand of schematic diagram and P&ID.\nAdvantage: knowledge of automation, switchgear and electrical protection systems.\nGood understanding of Asian business practices.\nStrong communication skills, teamwork, proactiveness and positive mindset.\nWilling to travel within APAC. \nAbout mtu Power Systems\nPower Systems is the Rolls-Royce business which provides world-class power solutions and complete life-cycle support under our product and solution brand mtu.
