Role will drive a culture of growth, data driven performance management and improvement, with a relentless focus on service delivery.\nRole Description:\nThe Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of the FA&R team (+12 employees) and will be accountable to meet all team SLAs and KPIs. A key focus of the role is ensuring that team members are fully engaged, supported, and developed. This includes actively building capabilities within the team, conducting performance reviews, and identifying opportunities for process and efficiency improvements.\nThe Lead will serve as the primary escalation point for operational issues and will collaborate closely with operations managers to ensure that customer needs are understood and met. The role operates within a matrix structure and reports directly to the Head of GBS Finance Poland, while also working in close partnership with the Process Owner for R2R to identify improvement opportunities and support the implementation of agreed enhancements.\nKey responsibilities\nPerformance Management and Continuous Improvement\nDrives team and process performance through data driven insights\nLiaise with GPO to ensure that FA&R processes are align to global GBS standards\nEnsures that process documentation, Process flow are updated on regular basis\nDrive automation and promote process optimization\nStakeholder & Escalation Management\nResponsible for effective and efficient service interactions with suppliers, users, and other stakeholders. This includes the handling of incidents, issues, and escalations according to the GBS standard processes\nRisk, Compliance & Controls\nResponsible for executing controls as defined (and in compliance with Group Internal Control framework requirements) ensuring their results are documented, their effectiveness is monitored, and related insights are regularly shared with the Process Owners.\nResponsible for minimizing all operational risks including single points of failure and business continuity risks\nLiaise with Senior external stakeholders to ensure prompt closure of Audit findings.\nOperational Delivery:\nResponsible for the fulfilment of agreed SLAs and KPIs and for the achievement of agreed User/Customer Satisfaction levels.\nResponsible to run and steer the FA&R, including Period End and Fixed Asset service delivery according to lean principles and the GBS standard operating model.\nResponsible for providing the necessary workforce capacity with the right skill set and capabilities.\nResponsible for monitoring volumes / workload drivers and for the planning and steering of workforce capacity according to demand.\nAccountable for timely closure of Period End and Report Accuracy\nTeam Management:\nResponsible for establishing and maintaining a service culture (mindset) in which service employees strive for solutions, take responsibility, act empathetically and strive to make services easy to use.\nResponsible for creating and maintaining high employee engagement while leading the team through changes.\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in finance & accounting\n10+ years’ experience in a GBS or BPO setting\nQualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent\nExpert knowledge of end-to-end of the Record To Report processes and related accounting\nExperience in resource planning, scheduling, and workflow management.\nExperience managing an FA&R team and driving performance against KPIs / SLAs\nProven ability to coach, develop, and motivate people.\nStakeholder management experience at operational level.\nExperience with MSOffice and ERP system: SAP is a must\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, UK GAAP)\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or any other equivalent training - desirable but not essential\nSAP S/4HANA \nSkills and Competencies:\nExcellent communication and influencing skills across cultures\nConflict Resolution / Change Management\nStrong analytical and Problem Solving\nDemonstrated ability to embed CI culture within a team.\nExcellent Written and Verbal Communication and Interpersonal Skill\nAble to identify and solve complex operational problems and leverage the appropriate resources within their discipline\nLanguage: English fluent or bi-lingual\nBenefits\nPrivate healthcare and group life insurance\nAnnual bonus\nmyBenefit platform/subsidy for Multisport cards\nInternet and electricity allowance for remote work\nIncreased funding for the Employee Capital Plans (PPK) program; Rolls Royce\nSp. z o.o. contributes 3% to this program\nAdditional vacation days based on length of service with the employer\nHybrid work model (2 days in the office / 3 days from home)\nWork in a modern office located in the Krakow centre - the Unity Tower (ul.
