The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical and electronics background, proficiency in interpreting ship wiring diagrams and extensive experience with marine electronics repair and testing capabilities across a range of parameters.\nEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:\nDiploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.\nAdditional electronics certifications will be an advantage.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPossess a minimum of 5 years of experience in service, installing, assembling, and testing marine electronic systems in accordance with project specifications.\nUnderstand and interpret electrical diagrams, executing system wiring as per provided drawings.\nUtilize expertise in handling marine electronics and associated circuits.\nConduct insulation tests for electrical components and cables.\nHandle measurement data acquisition systems specific to marine environments. Proficient in handling uh software such as dialysis which is useful data acquisition and troubleshooting.\nExperience in handling electronic ECU for MTU engines such as MDEC, ADEC and MCS 5 control system.\nMonitor electronic panels and cables during testing.\nTroubleshoot marine electronic control and auxiliary systems.\nFamiliarity with electronics component repair and testing procedures in compliance with relevant maritime standards.\nEffectively collaborate with service teams, conduct scoping meetings, and contribute to team building efforts.\nActively participate in cross-functional teamwork, fostering a collaborative work environment.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nPower Systems is the Rolls-Royce business which provides world-class power solutions and complete life-cycle support under our product and solution brand mtu.
