As a Field Service Representative, your principle accountabilities will be to provide local technical support in respect of the operation and maintenance for customer engines, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues thus minimising operational disruption.\nThe role is a Field Service Representatives who support customers at RAF Lossiemouth with occasional travel expected to RAF Coningsby and our Bristol Headquarters. The vacancy is only open to individuals eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.\nWhat you will be doing\nWith this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:\nResolve customer technical Issues in line with contractual requirements and provide support to help maintain customer satisfaction/complaint targets and delivery, including proactive management of the issues to resolution\nInput engine events and data highlighting, to the wider organisation, engine related issues that are impacting fleet reliability and operability \nManage the “in service” customer relationships across various levels within the Customer, OEM and Supplier organisations\nMonitor and input fleet data to, and liaise with, the customer community on short term fleet planning and availability to ensure that they have confidence in the level of service being provided and to manage Customer expectations.\nLead and conduct maintenance activities where Engine Maintenance and Repair activity is carried out\nWho we’re looking for:\nAt Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. They are the fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.\nTo be successful in this role you will need to:\nBe technically competent to at least HND level or having equivalent relevant experience\nHave experience of aircraft propulsion system and maintenance at ML1 / ML2; will have been trained within the propulsion trade or come from a relevant Engineering / Service Engineering discipline, or holds equivalent qualifications \nHave knowledge of Regulatory Requirements (Military and/or Civil)\nHave experience of dealing in a customer facing environment\nHave the capability to be Responsive, Flexible and Agile in your work\nTo work for the Rolls-Royce Defence business an individual has to hold a Security Check clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you do not currently already have this in place.
