We are looking for an:\nHS&E Expert - EMEA (m/f)\n(Fulltime | 40 hours)\nAs HS&E Expert - EMEA, you provide regional oversight, specialist guidance, coaching and coordination across our EMEA organisation. You connect local HSE Managers and Leads, support the rollout of regional and global initiatives, and help ensure the consistent application of HS&E policies, procedures and standards.\nThis is a regional role with regular travel across EMEA. You report to the SVP Global Markets - EMEA and work closely with the local Managing Directors, HSE professionals and operational leaders. Legal, operational and day-to-day HS&E accountability remains with each local entity and its designated HSE role.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and coordinate the EMEA HS&E roadmap, aligned with global and regional priorities, and support its local implementation.\nCoach local HSE Managers, Leads and operational leaders on HS&E policies, management systems, legislation and safe working practices.\nConduct site visits, audits and compliance reviews, supporting local entities during corporate, customer, certification and regulatory audits.\nGuide local teams on risk assessments, incident investigations, Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions, escalating significant or recurring gaps when required.\nStrengthen safety culture and local capability through coaching, training, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the EMEA HSE community.\nMonitor and analyse regional HS&E performance, provide management reporting and drive continuous improvement. Regular travel across EMEA is required.\nLocal management and the designated HSE role remain accountable for legal compliance and day-to-day HS&E management within each entity.\nQualifications\nRecognized professional HSE qualification, such as NEBOSH, IOSH or an equivalent national or international certification;\nRelevant HSE experience within a complex, international or multi-site matrix organization;\nExperience in logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing or another operational environment;\nPractical experience with HS&E management systems, risk assessments, audits, incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis;\nGood command of English, both verbally and in writing; German or another European language is an advantage;\nWillingness and ability to travel regularly across the EMEA region.\nRequired Skills\nSafety-culture leadership and facilitation: able to influence behaviour, strengthen accountability and embed safety into everyday decision-making;\nCoaching and stakeholder management: builds trusted relationships and enables local leaders and HSE professionals to take ownership;\nChange management: supports cultural and operational change across countries with different levels of HSE maturity;\nAnalytical capability: uses HSE data, trends, leading indicators, audit findings and incident information to identify priorities and recommend action;\nCommunication skills: explains complex legal and technical matters in a clear, practical and audience-appropriate way;\nAudit and investigation skills: capable of conducting audits, supporting serious-incident investigations and guiding corrective-action follow-up;\nCultural and regulatory awareness: works effectively across countries, cultures, languages and regulatory environments;\nCollaborative approach: connects people, promotes knowledge sharing and supports consistent regional standards while preserving local accountability.\nWhat we offer\nCLA ME Grade K: €5,300-€7,000 gross per month.\nProfit-sharing Scheme and 8% holiday allowance.\n27 vacation days and 13 ATV days.\nOption of 2 days a week Hybrid working, including an equipped home workplace.\nPME pension scheme and Company Fitness programme.\nBroad professional and career-development opportunities within a well-established international organization.\nMore about us\nOur purpose is a force for progress - powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.\nOur behaviours are shown in our business; We put safety first.
