Our Off-Wing Operations team is responsible for the execution of aftermarket services and includes accountability for the performance of the external supply chain.\nAs an Induction Planner within Civil Aftermarket Operations, you will play a key role in overall supplier relationship management, performing vital activities to ensure the business runs smoothly to meet our performance goals. We aspire for our Induction Planners to make a difference in the Customer to Customer (C2C) value stream.\nIn this role, you will indirectly manage high-profile external suppliers and Joint Ventures and directly impact the service levels and profitability of Civil Aerospace through Aftermarket Services. This is a challenging, service-focused environment that will give you exposure to issues directly affecting our internal and external suppliers and our relationships with key vendors.\nUsing standard processes, a production governance system and planning and control best practice, you will be responsible for supplier relationships, delivery performance, forecasting and planning within the Off-Wing Operations Team.\nYou will drive on-time delivery through the application of rigorous planning whilst maintaining executive data and supporting systems. Working with customers, suppliers and internal representatives, you will identify, prioritise, mitigate and resolve delivery issues impacting the induction of engines through the network.\nYou will support robust load capacity planning within the value stream and drive long-term improvements in delivery that enhance the competitive performance of Rolls-Royce, its customers and suppliers.\nWhat you will be doing:\nLead supplier engagement activities to deliver planned induction readiness and slot fill rate of the 13-week operational induction plan across our global network.\nOwn Induction Readiness across the team to deliver a minimum of two weeks’ induction readiness, increasing to a four-week readiness queue for each Overhaul Base, ensuring the induction plan is achieved both volumetrically and in the required mix (HSV, CR, 1RF etc.).\nEnsure the priorities of engine inductions are agreed, set and cascaded through the Induction Planning team.\nLead daily operational governance and coordination of all required pre-induction activities, including action close-out.\nOwn the Removal to Induction (R2I) process.\nOwn stakeholder relationship management within the Overhaul Network Bases, supporting appropriate governance to ensure delivery performance.\nAct as the first point of escalation for team and/or Overhaul Base escalations within your value stream.\nAttend daily progress and reporting reviews with MRO Vice Presidents, providing status updates against the induction plan, actual inductions achieved, baseline induction plan, action status and escalations.\nIdentify and capture systemic issues arising from missed slots, driving and leading issue resolution and improvement plans within the Induction Readiness Team to mitigate impact and ensure recovery of performance gaps.\nManage integrated stakeholder relationships with wider workscoping teams and supporting functions.\nEnsure MfA compliance for the value stream and team.\nPosition Requirements:\nAt Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
