This includes processing and analysing LRU service data to provide insights and effect change to influence safety, reliability, and cost.\nThe Lifecycle Engineer will be responsible for providing meaningful insights identifying opportunities for significant cost and maturity improvements. Motivated to see the realisation of these opportunities, they will be capable of leading their delivery through the appropriate channels.\nThis role also provides ample opportunities to work with our network of internal and external Customers, Partners, Suppliers and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul facilities, both driving the delivery of data and monitoring their performance.\nHighly flexible with an engineering background, they will be capable of supporting wider Lifecycle Engineering activities such as unit and fleet level investigations.\nThe role can be based in either Birmingham or Derby depending on the candidates’ personal circumstances.\nWhat you will be doing\nWork with LRU Suppliers and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul facilities to deliver improved cost and maturity support to Rolls-Royce.\nDevelop key insights and metrics to understand LRU performance and highlight safety and reliability drivers with a focus on reducing cost.\nPresent the analysis of these drivers for Project, Engineering and Supplier Management consumption.\nIdentify and lead the change to address these drivers through the Lifecycle Engineering and Project processes.\nSupport the wider Controls Lifecycle Engineering team with cost and maturity challenges.\nPosition qualifications\nEducated to degree level in a STEM subject and/or have experience in a relevant engineering environment (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Electrical or Controls).
