This role is responsible for providing world-class technical support for in-service and delivered products, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the product lifecycle.\nThe position plays a critical role in enhancing safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness by modelling product performance, identifying deterioration mechanisms, and implementing robust solutions to support our operators in the Asia Pacific (APAC) and Greater China (GC) region. You will also be delegated as a focal point aligned to regional operators and engine project teams based in the UK.\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and business requirements, acting as a Technical Authority when delegated.\nTechnical Support & Issue Resolution\nProvide technical support for operational queries and arising issues.\nLead root cause investigations, implement containment actions, and recommend corrective measures under 8D investigation framework.\nConduct technical surveillance and quality assurance audits to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.\nReliability & Performance Optimization\nSet and monitor reliability targets using historical data and statistical analysis.\nPredict future safety and reliability performance through proactive monitoring, failure rate modelling and risk assessment.\nIdentify reliability improvement opportunities by reviewing reliability data, lifecycle engineering policies and maintenance plans.\nLifecycle Data & Health Monitoring\nAnalyse and model through-life performance, deterioration mechanisms, and service attributes.\nGather in-service data, drive continuous improvement, and integrate lessons learned into future designs.\nPropose and push for improvement or development of Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) diagnostics.\nTechnical Communication & Stakeholder Engagement\nDevelop and approve technical publications for customers and maintenance teams.\nPrepare and deliver reports and presentations to internal & external stakeholders and regulators.\nLead cross-functional teams, including specialists, suppliers, customers, and partners.\nQualifications & Experience\nEngineering or Numerical degree (or equivalent experience).\nStrong understanding of component/system functionality and numerical methods.\nExperience in troubleshooting, problem resolution, and complex technical challenges.\nFamiliarity with in-service operations, including regulatory and compliance requirements.\nProven ability to support and lead cross-functional teams.\nBetter if Power BI & SQL knowledge and competencies.\nOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
