{"id":3309896,"url":"https://alion.io/job/rolls-royce-manufacturing-services-technician-multi-skilled","title":"Manufacturing Services Technician – Multi-Skilled","company":{"id":4431609,"name":"Rolls-Royce","domain":"rollsroyce.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/rollsroyce-com","size_band":"501-1000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Workday","truth_index":null},"role":"Field & Service","role_family":"Field & Service","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":36000,"max_usd":67000,"period":"year","method":"role_country_seniority_unknown","sample_n":1370},"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-26T00:00:00Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-26","last_verified_at":"2026-10-28T21:13:08Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":2,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":2},"description":"Job Description\nManufacturing Services Technician - Multi-Skilled\nDenby, Derbyshire\nFull time - Rotating weekly shifts (06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00)\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Services Technician - Multi-Skilled to join Rolls-Royce Denby, located in Derbyshire.\nIn this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment located in production or assembly and test facilities.\nRolls-Royce Denby has particular expertise in the manufacture of complex geometric ceramic cores used in the investment casting of high-performance directionally solidified and single crystal gas turbine engine components for both aerospace and industrial applications.\nYou will provide support to the Manufacturing Services Manager and Manufacturing Services Engineer to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.\nWhat you will be doing:\nAs a Manufacturing Services Technician, you will carry out reactive, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure manufacturing equipment is safe, available and capable for use when required.\nUtilising precision diagnostic instruments during maintenance and analysing equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach to maintenance.\nCollecting, organising and analysing data in support of Key Performance Indicators.\nReading and interpreting machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams and schematics, maintenance manuals and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics.\nIdentifying and implementing continuous improvements to equipment, maintenance procedures and work instructions to optimise electrical installation and maintenance strategies.\nCoordinating preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with Production staff, regularly communicating and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders and Production Operators.\nSupporting asset maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities are safe, reliable and maintained to a high-performance standard.\nSupporting the effective induction of new team members and cross-training of other team members.\nPosition Qualifications:\nCompleted advanced-level apprenticeship in an engineering discipline, with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
