Your role is to deliver actionable market insights that help category managers and sourcing teams make informed, competitive and future-ready decisions. You will research industry trends, analyse supplier landscapes, support supplier discovery and benchmark competitors to uncover opportunities for cost optimisation, innovation, and risk mitigation.\nYou will collect and synthesise data from multiple external sources including market reports, supplier databases, pricing benchmarks, and industry publications. This will help you provide clear, accurate and relevant insights to your procurement stakeholders. A key part of your role will be preparing dashboards and reports that translate complex market data into practical recommendations for procurement stakeholders. By combining analytical rigor with a deep understanding of market dynamics, you will enable smarter category strategies and supplier discovery initiatives.\nKey Accountabilities:\nConduct market and industry research to identify trends, supplier landscapes and competitive benchmarks\nPerform company profiling and supplier discovery to support sourcing strategies\nAnalyse pricing trends and competitor data to inform negotiation strategies\nProvide actionable insights to support category planning and sourcing decisions\nValidate and synthesise data from multiple external sources for accuracy and relevance\nPrepare reports and dashboards summarizing market intelligence for procurement stakeholders\nCollaborate with category managers and sourcing teams to align research outputs with business need\nMaintain a repository of market intelligence and ensure timely updates\nMonitor emerging trends and risks that could impact supply markets\nSupport continuous improvement of research methodologies and tools\nKey Experiences and Qualifications:\n+3 years of experience in market research, analytics, or procurement intelligence\nStrong understanding of supplier markets, industry trends and competitive analysis\nExperience working in aerospace or defence, or other complex manufacturing industry\nFamiliarity with procurement processes and category management principles\nUnderstanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence \nExtensive experience in data analytics and advanced data visualisation tools\nWorking knowledge of SAP, Ivalua, Coupa\nDemonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service and influencing others\nProven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives\nOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
