In addition, the role requires integration skills to allow requirements, data and product understanding to be gathered and disseminated across various stake holders (e.g. internal sub-system and component teams, airframers, regulatory authorities and customers).\nKey Accountabilities\nOwn the definition of the product thermodynamic cycle.\nProvide prediction and analysis of product attributes at the whole system/platform level.\nGather, manage and disseminate requirements from/to a range of internal and external customers.\nProvide data to sub-systems for product design and development.\nDefine and manage system and product interfaces.\nProvide insight into product/aircraft interaction.\nProvide insight and analysis of real-world operation and customer usage.\nManage relationships with internal and external customers.\nKey Experiences and any Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or Master's in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification, or equivalent experience\nStrong technical knowledge in thermodynamics and engine performance, as well as an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to aerodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, manufacturing engineering, mechanical design, and product definition\nKnowledge and experience in modelling and code development, particularly in Matlab, Python and Databricks\nAn ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameter\nKnowledge and experience of product integrity / liability and certification frameworks\nMembership of a relevant professional body appropriate to region.
