All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to any protected characteristics.\nWhat you will be doing:\nLay out, fabricate, install, maintain, alter, test and diagnose trouble and repairs for water, waste, gas, steam, acid, fuel, air and oil lines. \nCut, thread, fit, align, weld, caulk and cover piping, as required, in accordance with blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions. \nUse all types of hand tools common to the trade, such as pipe wrenches, cutters, reamers, caulking tools, levels, etc. and such equipment as, threading machines, welding and cutting torches, sewer augers, etc. \nHandle materials manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.\nMust be knowledgeable about the proper and safe methods to handle these materials. \nMay be required to assist in the cleanup of spills of these materials.\nAble to read, interpret and work from blueprints and have a knowledge of basic math. \nIn this role, you may be required to work from ladders or scaffolding high above floor level and handle both liquid and solid type hazardous materials and wastes. \nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\nWho we’re looking for:\nAt Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
