You will play an integral role in the preparation, planning, and issuing and controlling production schedules along with coordinating material requirements, to ensure a controlled flow for approved materials is timed to meet production. This is an exciting opportunity, as you’ll work with cross-functional teams whilst also working to advise management of the status of work and work to overcome potential production obstacles. The core accountabilities for this role include supplier relationship management and planning delivery schedules for a given mix of suppliers. This is a fast paced, highly visible role supporting the North American external supply chain delivering to internal customers. You must be open to traveling up to 25% of the time domestically.\nWhat you will be doing:\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of supply to the manufacturing facilities\nUtilize knowledge of production flow and load and capacity planning to build credible supplier delivery commitments\nManage data integrity in SAP and ensure ERP Compliance is maintained\nEffectively manage cost by executing a balanced delivery and inventory plan based on customer requirements\nCommunicate and schedule long term delivery commitments and coordinate recovery plans for critical parts\nDrive continuous improvement and lean initiatives through the Rolls-Royce Production System and other problem-solving methodologies\nBasic Requirements:\nAssociate degree and 2+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing or business management, OR\nBachelor's degree, OR\nMaster's degree, OR\nJD/PhD, OR\n4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain planning, purchasing or manufacturing or business management in lieu of a degree\nIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident\nPreferred Requirements:\nProject management experience\nAdept problem solving\nStrong internal and external relationship management skills\nSystems, Applications and Products (SAP) experience\nProject management and collaborating with various department\nOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
