And it’s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world’s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.\nPosition Summary\nWe have an exciting new opportunity for Senior Electronics Engineer in our Controls System Simulation team.\nYou will be responsible for electronics hardware circuit design and development of Hardware-in-the-Loop real time simulators used to test and verify engine control and monitoring systems through full product life cycle.\nIn this exciting role, you may be involved at any stage of a project including the initial brief for a concept, the design and development stage, testing of prototypes and the final implementation of a new product or system, support of fielded products and investigations. You will be working in a multidiscipline simulation team, with colleagues in other branches of engineering, vendors and external customers.\nWhat you will be doing\nDevelop and troubleshoot electrical hardware simulations of control system sensors and actuators used as part of a Hardware-in-the-Loop real time simulator used to test and verify engine control and monitoring systems through full product life cycle.\nPerforms trade study analysis, tolerance analysis, and various simulations to support the design's accuracy and efficiency\nDevelop software controls for hardware integration.\nPerform Requirements-based product decomposition, development, traceability and assurance.\nCompile functional description and design assurance testing results into a report sufficient for certifying authorities.\nBasic Requirements:\nBachelor's degree in STEM/ Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of Electronic Hardware Circuit Design experience, OR\nMaster’s degree in STEM/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 0+ years of Electronic Hardware Circuit Design experience; OR\nPhD in degree in STEM/Electronics/Electrical Engineering with 0+ years of Electronic Hardware Circuit Design experience;\nIn order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen\nCommitment to travel up to 20% between sites and up to 10% other travel\nPreferred Requirements:\n5+ years’ experience in circuit design\nExperience working with databus circuits such as CAN, ARINC429, MIL-STD-1553, SPI, I2C, Ethernet\nStrong software development skills in C/C++, Python, Atlassian toolsets and build environments for Linux and Windows OS\nExperience with network analyzers, oscilloscopes, meters, probes and similar lab equipment\nExperience with Thevenin equivalent circuit design, grounding isolation and shielding schemes, filtering, protection, EMI reduction techniques\nExperience with onsite integration of cabinet mounted electronic test equipment at external customer sites\nAnalyze and translate high level requirements into a validated design for the electrical component\nAbility to present technical data to senior engineers and management\nOur vision is to ensure that the quality and dynamism that shaped our history continues into our future.
