We’re building cutting-edge digital capability that underpins how the entire organisation collaborates, designs, and delivers.\nIn this context, we are looking for a Senior BIM Engineer, reporting to the Senior Information Manager, to help shape and deliver our integrated federated model for the Rolls-Royce SMR power station. This role is central to embedding BIM excellence across the organisation and ensuring the seamless flow of trusted, high-quality information.\nWe’ll need you to:\nDriving BIM coordination across all engineering disciplines, ensuring alignment and collaborative model development.\n\nImplementing the BIM Execution Plan, maintaining standards, procedures, and workflows.\n\nAnalysing model data, identifying issues, and resolving complex technical challenges.\n\nEnhancing our information management framework through continuous improvement.\n\nAs you can see, this is a pivotal, high-profile role where you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, strong analytical thinking, and first-class communication skills to a truly transformative engineering programme.\nEssential Skills / Qualifications\nA recognised qualification in a relevant engineering, architecture, or digital/BIM discipline, or equivalent proven industry experience.\n\nWe’ll ask about your experience delivering BIM in complex engineering environments and managing multidisciplinary model coordination.\n\nStrong knowledge of BIM standards, model governance, and common data environments, ideally including tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and IFC workflows.\n\nLocation\nWe offer hybrid working, with regular attendance expected at one of our offices: Derby, Manchester, or Warrington, depending on your chosen base location.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nThe salary for this role is £48,000-£62,500 DOE\n\nwith a 12.5% bonus\n\n£2,200 benefits allowance, 12% employer pension, 28 days leave, BUPA medical cover, and £250 home-working support.
