The appointment of a SeniorWelding Engineer/Technician is a pivotal point in our growth and in developing, implementing and qualifying high-integrity welding solutions for nuclear power plant pipework and components. The role also acts as a technical advisor, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, suppliers and other stakeholders to deliver robust welding strategies... at scale! This will include: Develop and qualify welding techniques for high-integrity nuclear pipework. Define and support welding strategy across Rolls-Royce SMR manufacturing and supply chain activities. Lead welding process qualification activities, including pWPS, PQR and supporting documentation in accordance with ASME III and IX.
