This role combines leadership with hands-on execution, managing a team across Source-to-Contract activities.\nYou will manage day-to-day team operations, monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs, and resolve issues promptly to maintain service quality. A key responsibility is ensuring sourcing events and contracting activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with category strategies and governance standards. You will also drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes, optimising tools and templates, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.\nKey Accountabilities:\nLead and coach a team of sourcing and contracting specialists; set priorities, manage capacity, and foster a high-performance culture\nOversee execution of sourcing events (RFx, auctions) and contract administration activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance\nSupport supplier onboarding, training, and engagement throughout sourcing and contracting processes\nPartner with global Indirect Procurement teams and stakeholders to align sourcing execution with category strategies\nBuild strong supplier relationships to drive innovation, sustainability and performance improvement\nIdentify and implement improvements to sourcing and contracting processes, tools, and templates\nEnsure adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and audit requirements across all activities\nDrive initiatives that enhance sourcing capability and deliver long-term benefits\nSupport risk mitigation activities related to sourcing and contracting operations\nCoach and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nKey Experiences and Qualifications:\n10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and contract management within a global, complex organisation\nHands-on experience with RFx execution, bid analysis and contract administration\nExperience working in aerospace or defence sector, in both Indirect and Direct Procurement\nUnderstanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence\nFamiliarity with digital procurement tools and process automation\nA working knowledge of Coupa and/or Ivalua would be beneficial\nExperience leading transformation projects and driving process improvements\nDemonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrix organisation\nProven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives\nProven experience in people management and talent development\nOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
