Join us and you’ll develop your skills and expertise to the very highest levels, working in an international environment for a company known the world over for its brilliance.\nPosition Summary:\nThis position is responsible for performing Electrical engineering work related to the integration of power generation equipment in direct account customer projects within the Project Systems Engineering team. The position requires high levels of client interactions, coordination with product R&D and custom engineering teams within Friedrichshafen and Mankato, and continuously supporting the Project Systems Execution team.\nKey Accountabilities:\nManages project design and development for new or existing products.\n\nServes as the technical authority over one key direct account, supporting the primary project manager over the same key direct account, and is the primary engineering POC for all RRSA design activities associated with this one key direct account.\n\nOverseas and provides appropriate levels of guidance on design and development of generator set control systems, wiring harnesses, electrical diagrams, electronic engine systems, automatic voltage regulators, transformers, heaters, distribution panels, motor controls, protective relays, LV & MV paralleling switchgear, and any other electrical aspects of products.\n\nVerifies and confirms manufacturer's wiring drawings, one-line diagrams, schematics, data sheets and similar drawings for compliance with design specifications.\n\nResearch and analyze requirements from various engineering standards, contracts, and proposal documents.\n\nEnsures that engineering calculations and drawings in accordance with applicable electrical codes, contract requirements, while utilizing industry standard/MTU adopted symbology and naming conventions\n\nPrepare and finalize equipment specifications for major electrical equipment.\n\nSelect effective design concepts and fundamental technology for new products or improvement of existing products\n\nReview and compare customer specifications against MTU designs and equipment vendor proposals to formally identify categorization of comply, deviate, or exempt for client review & approval ahead of any design freezes.\n\nComplete work according to standard engineering principles and practices.\n\nResponsible for following the ERP procedures per the company’s quality system.\n\nPromote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.\n\nPerform special projects as required\n\nBasic Requirements:\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship.
