Also, you will identify root cause and resolve problems through evaluative judgements and analysis.\nTo deliver against programme milestones within agreed cost, timescale and quality requirements.\nTo be a point of contact between the mechanical integrity discipline and other functions and customers.\nWhat we’re looking for:\nAt Rolls-Royce we embrace agility, are bold, pursue collaboration and seek simplicity in everything we do. These principles form our values and behaviours and are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.\nYou will have Bachelor's degree or Master's in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, Materials Technology, Mathematics, Physics or a similar related discipline.\nKnowledge and experience in Critical Part component lifingmethods and analyses - e.g. LCF, HCF, damage tolerant/crack propagation (deterministic & probabilistic), corrosion, rotor integrity (disc burst, rim peel & blade release), or has keen interest in developing such skills at pace.\nProficient in the use of 2D & 3D finite element stress analysis tools (e.g. SC03/ Abaqus/ ANSYS/ NASTRAN) - in elastic, inelastic, thermal-mechanical, contact and frictional assessments.\nKnowledge and experience of product integrity, liability and aerospace certification frameworks.\nStrong technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering and product definition.\nOur vision is to ensure that the excellence and ingenuity that shaped our history continues into our future.
