It covers engineers who are performing Development, Systems Engineering and Verification style roles. This is an integration role where the individual will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust validated customer requirements.\nWhat you will be doing:\nInterface between external and internal customers, to elicit and validate all stakeholder requirements including business, technical customers and partners.\nCreate an appropriate Enterprise Architecture solution which serves both business and technical needs.\nSet the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for a Engineering Programme through the the relevant management plan (i.e. Configuration Management Plan).\nEstablish / manage appropriate (Requirements, Design Rationale Evidence, Design Definition and Verification Information) R-E-D-V structure that joins information across all areas involved (Customer, Business, System, Sub-System and Component) for the project.\nEnsure sufficient rigor is put into requirements validation and verification, to remove technical risk.\nEnsure R-E-D-V health data reports from Validation and Verification activities is used to drive the engineering programme schedule and to remove technical risk\nDevelop product verification strategy, structured verification plan and Product Development Plan.\nDefine and deliver robust certification and qualification strategies (for organisations which are design authority).\nManage the creation of substantiation evidence, clearance/acceptance documentation that meets the demand for the project.\nExtract Manufacturing/Installation/ Test and Commissioning requirements from the engineering teams.\nDefine configuration hardware requirements to satisfy verification activities.\nBe the point of contact with the project to support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities, driving the right V&V behaviours within the project.\nWho we’re looking for:\nDegree level in Engineering or equivalent unless the role is a technician role.\nExperience in relevant domain is preferred but not essential.\nGood communication, presentation skills and an ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment.\nRegional Benefits:\nGenerous Annual Leave \nRetirement Savings \nGroup Life Assurance provides for a lump sum benefit if you die whilst employed by Rolls-Royce\nGroup Income Protection provides an income in the event that you are unable to work due to illness or injury \nYour Shares: Matched is a simple way to own Rolls-Royce shares and invest in our future, together.
