And it’s your chance to really shine and contribute to one of the world’s most recognized brands and a beacon for engineering excellence.\nWhat you will be doing\nAdjust and align tools and modify systems on pre-set equipment according to machining specifications\nSet and change specialty and standard tools in machining centers (i.e., MAPAL Padded Reamers from single diameter to multi-diameter, and standard tooling systems)\nAssemble and reassemble new tools, re-worked tools and prototype tools for tool crib operations\nAccess tooling re-work capability based on tooling attributes and machining requirements\nVerify quality of tooling by inspecting, comparing them to templates, measuring their dimensions, or testing them \nBasic Requirements\nHigh School Diploma/GED and completion of apprenticeship or training program or 3 years previous experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial tooling management in a heavy-duty machining environment \nBasic knowledge in a variety of machines and tools such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, taps or dies and hoists; including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance\nBasic knowledge of inventory control systems, manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods \nIntermediate mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, carpentry, lubrications, and repair of production machines\nBasic knowledge and experience with Siemens 840D CNC machine tool control, Modicon, Allen Bradley, RS Logic 500 & 5000 and CNC programming applications. \nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship.
