You will own supplier quality for critical electrical systems and components, partnering closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and our suppliers to ensure we consistently deliver high-quality products at scale. \nSuccess in this role means more than resolving quality issues-it means developing suppliers, industrializing new products, preventing defects before they occur, and building robust quality systems that support Rondo's rapid global growth. \nThis role requires frequent travel to supplier facilities throughout Europe and internationally. \nWhat You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to): \nBuild Supplier Quality Capability \nDevelop and execute the supplier quality strategy for electrical components and assemblies.\nEstablish scalable supplier qualification, audit, and performance management processes.\nBuild strong technical relationships with strategic suppliers and become their primary quality partner.\nDefine supplier quality standards, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation.\nPartner with supply chain to qualify new suppliers and audit existing \nDrive Supplier Development & Industrialization \nSupport the industrialization of new electrical products and suppliers from prototype through production.\nPartner with Engineering and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and production readiness.\nLead supplier activities, production readiness reviews, and process validation.\nReview manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, throughput, and robustness.\nHelp to implement APQP and PPAP methodology \nImprove Product Quality\nLead investigations into supplier-related quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nDrive root cause analysis and implementation of permanent corrective actions.\nMonitor supplier performance through KPIs and quality metrics.\nReduce field quality issues by preventing defects upstream in the manufacturing process. \nSupport New Product Introduction \nPartner with Product Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle.\nEnsure quality requirements are incorporated into new designs and supplier selection.\nApprove First Article Inspections (FAI), Supplier qualification and production validation activities where appropriate.\nHelp establish inspection strategies and critical-to-quality characteristics. \nCollaborate Across Functions \nWork closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Project Delivery, and Field Service.\nSupport incoming inspection strategies and supplier containment activities when necessary.\nProvide technical leadership during supplier visits and manufacturing reviews.\nShare lessons learned across suppliers and product lines to continuously improve Rondo's products. \nWhat You Will Bring: \nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.\nApproximately 4-8 years (P3) or 7-12 years (P4) of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supplier Development.\nExperience working with electrical or electromechanical components in industrial, energy, automotive, automation, or heavy manufacturing environments.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing processes for electrical assemblies including cable harnesses, control panels, switchgear, sensors, power electronics, or similar products.\nExperience leading supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvements.\nExcellent root cause analysis and corrective action skills using methodologies such as 8D, A3, 5 Why, or Fishbone.\nExperience working cross-functionally with engineering and supply chain organizations.\nWillingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.\nExcellent English skills \nBonus Points!
