Vancouver and Calgary follow in early 2027. We're looking for a Country Lead to run Roo Canada. You own the Canadian number and you sell against it yourself. You are accountable for one outcome: making Roo the way Canadian hospitals find locum veterinarians and technicians, and the way those professionals find work, in every market we open.\nThis is a player-coach role. In your first months you are Roo's main seller in Canada. As the business grows, you hire and lead the team that takes over that work. Roo's product, marketing, events and data teams serve every country, so much of your job is getting them to work on what Canada needs most.\nResponsibilities\nMarketplace Growth\nSign up and activate hospitals onto the Roo platform.\nRecruit and activate locum veterinarians and technicians (RVTs, VAs) in each market.\nKeep supply and demand in balance in each metro, so hospitals see shifts filled and professionals see enough work.\nWin hospital groups, working with Roo's Enterprise AM team.\nMarket and Product Launches\nLaunch Vancouver and Calgary in early 2027.\nRecommend which Canadian markets come next.\nBring Roo's other products to Canada, starting with Locum-to-Hire and Roo Uni\nAdapt each product for Canada with the product, legal and marketing teams before launch.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nIdentify what the Canadian business needs and turn it into clear, prioritized requests.\nWork with Product, Marketing, Events and Partnerships, Data, Finance and Legal to deliver it.\nBring these teams together around each launch with one plan, owners and dates.\nThe Number and the Team\nOwn Canada revenue against plan, with a weekly forecast.\nRun a weekly business review that ends in decisions.\nHire and lead Canada's first account manager. Expand the team with business needs.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nIn your first year, you will:\nGrow Canada revenue above plan.\nLaunch Vancouver and Calgary on schedule.\nLaunch Locum-to-Hire in Canada.\nCollaborate with cross-functional partners successfully.\nHire and ramp Canada's first account manager.\nQualifications\nYou have owned a revenue number for a market or region.\nYou have launched or scaled a market or a product from an early stage.\nYou still like to sell, to hospitals and to professionals, including walking into a clinic without an appointment.\nYou have led cross-functional work with teams you don't manage, and followed it through until it shipped.\nMarketplace judgment.
