Additionally, they promote a positive atmosphere within the testing department and participate in game reviews to gauge a game's functionality against its design specifications.\nDuties and responsibilities\n · Testing games to destruction to find and document all defects, working based on priorities set by team leaders.\n· Compiling a list of defects or any issues in design or implementation during a testing cycle.\n· Ensuring all bugs assigned to QA are regressed and updated accordingly.\n· Working side-by-side with the development teams to track issues and assist in their remedy.\n· Following a set test plan or broader testing focus instructions that will be bespoke for each game.\n· Developing a good understanding of the different types of testing and execute those tests to a high standard.\n· Understanding the end user perspective and provide feedback on the game’s fun factor, progression, or difficulty, constructively and respectfully.\n· Maintaining a positive atmosphere in the testing department.\n· Participating in game reviews and evaluations to measure the functionality of a game against its design specification.\n· Perform other tasks assigned by the direct manager if needed.\nQualifications Experience:\n · At least 1 year of experience.
