You'll combine software engineering, AI expertise, and technical leadership to ensure projects are successful from early conversations through production deployment.\nWe expect AI Staff Engineers to work as developers within client projects while also providing technical guidance, solution design, and support during pre-sales activities.\nWhat are the main responsibilities of this role?\nTechnical Leadership & Delivery\nDesign and build AI-powered applications using LLMs, RAG, agents, and related technologies.\nWork as a hands-on engineer within client projects, contributing code and technical leadership.\nHelp clients understand technical options, tradeoffs, and opportunities.\nParticipate in technical discoveries, solution design, and architecture discussions.\nSupport pre-sales efforts through technical validation, estimations, and solution recommendations.\nGuide engineering teams through complex technical challenges.\nCollaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nShare knowledge and mentor other engineers when needed.\nWhich skills and experience do we envision for this role?Required\n6+ years of software engineering experience.\nStrong experience building and deploying AI-powered applications.\nHands-on experience with LLMs, RAG systems, agents, and modern AI frameworks.\nStrong Python and backend development skills.\nExperience building production-grade software and APIs.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.\nExperience working directly with clients or stakeholders.\nStrong client management skills, including technical and non-technical clients.\nStrong product mindset and background about different techniques.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to lead technical decisions while remaining hands-on.\nNice to haveExperience participating in technical pre-sales activities.\nExperience in consulting or software services companies.\nExperience with MLOps, observability, and AI evaluation frameworks.\nExperience designing multi-agent systems and advanced AI workflows.\nSuccess in This RoleSuccess in this role means becoming a trusted technical partner for both clients and internal teams.
