They should be able to work independently with little support from other devs to develop high-quality software aligned with client needs and company standards, with AI tools as part of their day-to-day workflow.\nWhat are the main responsibilities of this role?\nDeliver well-designed and high-quality code, with automated tests.\nNavigate ambiguity with strong technical judgment: evaluate tradeoffs, break down unclear requirements, and take ownership of the outcome regardless of how much of it was AI-assisted.\nEngage with the product, not just the code: understand the business problem behind each requirement, bring technical judgment into early product definition, and connect technical decisions to product and client value.\nParticipate in the overall management of the project (planning and review calls, board and story-map maintenance, etc).\nEnsure the development of high-quality code across the company.\nWrite meaningful code reviews, including critical review of AI-generated code.\nCollaborate with internal initiatives.\nEncourage project and company technical improvement.\nAssist team members and generate meaningful discussions during disagreements.\nExecute the right level of documentation for the project.\nWhich skills and experience do we envision for this role?\nSoftware experience from degree studies.\n+1 year of experience in the IT field.\nExperience with React, including functional components, hooks, and state management, and familiarity with Next.js.\nExperience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.\nBasic knowledge of testing concepts and unit testing.\nExperience with Git and version control workflows.\nAdvanced English skills, both written and spoken.\nExperience working with agile methodologies and within an agile environment.\nExperience working with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery)\nHands-on experience using AI development tools (such as Cursor or Claude Code) as a core part of the development workflow, going beyond single-prompt assistance into agentic workflows.\nComfort engaging directly with product/client stakeholders to understand what's driving a requirement, not just what it asks for.\nJoin our team and enjoy:\nAccess to Certifications, and a Mentorship Program for your professional growth.\nLearning Bonus.\nOpportunities to organize cross-functional initiatives and receive 360 Feedback to improve your skills continuously.\nThe flexibility to work remotely or from our offices in Montevideo or Buenos Aires with a flexible schedule and a Workation program available after the first year with the company.
