Requires intense telephone work with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills.\nProvides applications assistance for positive displacement pumps, progressive cavity pumps, pneumatic valves and power generation equipment based on engineering parameters such as flow, viscosity and pressure demands. Requires the ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering principles to correctly select equipment. \nCoordinates manufacturing deadlines to meet customer schedules.\nCoordinates and schedules testing. Able to inform customers on what types of tests and certifications can be provided. Works with engineering department to determine engineering requirements for specialty items. May be required to write sales letters and proposals.\nRequires successful follow through to determine that correct products were ordered and when necessary, manufactured according to customer's requirements. \nParticipates in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to stay apprised of new developments in field.\nConducts customer visits to determine field problems or to verify actual customer requirements.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
