The role is responsible for financial reporting, treasury oversight, regulatory compliance support, and internal control management across fiat and digital asset activities.\n\n The ideal candidate will combine strong technical accounting expertise with the ability to manage financial risks associated with cryptocurrency operations, regulatory requirements, and high-volume transaction environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinancial Reporting & Accounting:\n\n Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.\n\n Develop and maintain accounting policies for digital asset transactions, including valuation, recognition, and impairment.\n\n Maintain financial records for:\r\n\n Digital asset holdings\n\n Trading and exchange activities\n\n Wallet balances and custodial accounts\n\n Revenue streams (fees, spreads, staking, etc.)\n\n Coordinate and manage external audit processes.\n\n Ensure completeness and integrity of the general ledger.\n\nTreasury & Liquidity Management:\n\n Oversee management of fiat and digital asset treasury positions.\n\n Monitor liquidity across exchanges, custodians, and banking partners.\n\n Implement controls over digital asset movements and reconciliations.\n\n Manage conversion between fiat and cryptocurrencies.\n\n Monitor counterparty exposure to exchanges and financial institutions.\n\nRegulatory & Compliance Support:\n\n Support compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements applicable to digital asset operations in Nigeria.\n\n Coordinate financial submissions required by regulators, such as:\n\n Central Bank of Nigeria- Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria\n\n Support AML/CFT financial reporting obligations.\n\n Ensure financial records are audit-ready and regulator-ready.\n\nInternal Controls & Risk Management:\n\n Design and maintain internal control frameworks for digital asset transactions.\n\n Reconcile blockchain transaction data with internal financial records.\n\n Establish processes for safeguarding digital and fiat assets.\n\n Maintain documentation and audit trails for all financial activities.\n\n Support enterprise risk management initiatives.\n\nBudgeting, Planning & Analysis:\n\n Lead budgeting and forecasting processes.\n\n Provide financial performance analysis and variance reporting.\n\n Support strategic decision-making with financial insights\n\nOperational Finance Leadership:\n\n Manage finance operations and supervise finance staff where applicable.\n\n Implement finance systems suitable for high-volume transaction environments.\n\n Support investor reporting and due diligence processes.\n\n Collaborate with operations, compliance, technology teams, and other departments\n\nRequirements\n\n Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.\n\n 3 -
