We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe BIM Coordinator IIis responsible forcoordination efforts for both project coordination and REI coordination standards. This is a member of the coordination team that will work with field supervisors and project managers on field integration with BIM.This person will need to effectively coordinate electrical systems in the project.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nWork with the Lead Modelerin developing requiredmodel intelligence either for the revised standards or for a specific project’s needs.\n\nAttend coordination meetings.\n\nDetail major coordination changes utilizingavailable tools.\n\nMake minor adjustments inRevit in accordance withREI Standards.\n\nInput of marked-up drawings into Revit.\n\nReview project BIM requirements.\n\nWork with field on installation drawing schedule creation.\n\nDocument and report any changes that may have cost or schedule impact to Project Manager.\n\nReview all installation drawings prior to issuance to field.\n\nReview model exports for constructability.\n\nDocuments and archives work pursuant withthe REI standard.\n\nMake minor coordination changes in Revit.\n\nCreation of minor mark-ups and input of same.\n\nReview any change orders, DRB’s etc. for schedule or cost impact.\n\nUpload required files to project site.\n\nBack-check own work for accuracy before passingon to others.\n\nPrepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties.\n\nDownload drawings and information from the Web, SharePointor project websites (FTP, etc.)\n\nThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nHigh school diplomaor equivalent\n\nElectrical Apprenticeship or a minimum of 5 years’experience in the electrical construction industry, with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards\n\nMust complete REI’s Revit fundamentals class\n\nCan be a combination of education, trainingand relevant experience\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nUnderstanding of 3D coordination with other trades\n\nAdvanced knowledge in reading 2D plans, electronically or hard copy\n\nAdvanced knowledge of Autodesk Navis /Glue, Autodesk Design Review and working knowledge of 3D layout and design\n\nWorking Knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP\n\nFluency with all plotters, printers and reproduction systems used in house or on the job site\n\nFluency in the 2D and 3D space\n\nReceive and transmitdocuments on behalf of the design team, either via posting to website or the Internet or via hard copy\n\nAcknowledgement of any/all REI confidentialityand/or Non-Disclosurerequirements pursuant tothis position. The protection of Proprietary orCompanyIntellectual Property\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as requiredfor the position\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to 20%\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral workenvironment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
