YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Cost Accountant is responsible forprovidingfinancial services to the project including contract review, billings, work-in-place reporting, subcontractor and general condition payments, and cash reporting. The Cost Accountant is the lead person to support project accounting. As an integral part of theprojectteam.Thepositionacts asaconsultanttoeachProjectManagerandourinternalcustomers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Performspecialprojectauditsandanalysisasrequired.Includingcostvs.budgetreview,billingvs. cost, and tracking projected margin throughout the project duration.

• Assistandcoordinateaccountingfunctionswithotherprojectofficesasneeded.

• Coordinatewithexternalauditorsonannualandspecialauditfunctionsrelatedtocontracts,as necessary.

• UtilizeOracleR12accountingsoftwaretoperformjournalentries,enterbudgets,andopennew projects.

• AssistintrainingOraclesystemtoOperationstaff.

• Providesupportforotherdepartmentsandprojectstoassistintheiradministrativeneeds.

• Coordinatewithothercorporatefinancialandaccountingmanagementstafftoassuretimelyand accurateoperations between the financial functions.

• WorkwithOperatingManagersmonthlytoreviewjobstatusforproperrecognitionofprofit.Some travel may be required.

• Takegeneralmanagementdirectionfromimmediatesupervisor.

• Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribethegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performed by this position.This is not acomplete listing and other duties will beassigned basedon the position’s role within the business unit.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:

• AssociatedegreeinFinanceorAccounting;Bachelor’sDegreepreferred

• Minimumof5years’financeoraccountingexperience,preferablyintheconstructionindustry

• OracleEBSandMSAccessexperienceaplus

• Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevantexperience

• Interacteffectivelyandprofessionallywithalllevelsofemployees,bothmanagementand staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

• Upto20%

WORKINGCONDITIONS:

• Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions,such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

• Noiselevelistypically lowtomedium;it canbeloudonajobsite.

• Occasionalliftingofupto30lbs.
