We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nRosendin Electric is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join the General Accounting team to provide support in various accounting functions within the company.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nAssists with the monthly close process: including preparing month end schedules, reconciliation, and preparing closing entries.\n\nPrepare and upload various journal entries daily as well as ensuring all transactions are carried out in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.\n\nAssists with monthly variance analysis of corporate overhead expenditures against budget and report any findings to management.\n\nReconcile complex cash accounts and work with cross functional teams to discuss and resolve any discrepancies.\n\nAssist with banking related activities including transactional reporting and daily cash journal entries.\n\nAssist with the yearly audit and provide supporting documentation.\n\nAssist with Fixed Asset reporting including tracking costs for various purchases and on-going capitalizable projects.\n\nProvide support general support on miscellaneous ad hoc projects.\n\nThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nProficient understanding of accounting processes and principles\n\nExperience with a large ERP system preferred\n\nEffective analytical skills\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oracle preferred\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as required for the position\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business-related\n\n2-3 years’ experience in finance or accounting\n\nCombination of education, training, and relevantexperience.\n\nTRAVEL:\n0 %\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
