We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe Lead Workforce Development Trainer supports employee growth by delivering training programs and workshops for both field and office staff. Topics typically include supervisory skills, work readiness, team collaboration, and communication. This role requires a strong understanding of business needs and subject matter expertise. They may assume a team lead role for the work group.\nThe Lead WFD Trainer is a senior level employee development role that has an advanced understanding and can anticipate business needs. They direct new training program design and analyze session feedback to make recommendations for improvement to content and presentations. They have subject matter expertise in a particular subject, training program, or function of the company and are a trusted partner to the business. They have an increased exposure to senior leadership in the business unit and mentor Senior WFD Trainers.\nThe Workforce Development program focuses on field employee success and is structured around four key areas: Recruitment, Onboarding, Skills Training, and Leadership Development, with intentional overlap to support office-based teams.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nRecruitment\nOrganizes and attends local job and career fairs.\n\nCoordinates recruitment efforts with Marketing and Business Development teams.\n\nProcesses field applications submitted via rosendin.com/electricians\n\nInterviews and assesses field applicants, providing next steps (e.g., referral to local union halls).\n\nAligns hiring needs with local union representatives.\n\nExplores and engages with local and national recruitment programs.\n\nOnboarding\nDesigns onboarding program content and duration based on local needs assessments.\n\nCoordinates onboarding materials with Corporate Learning & Development and Safety departments.\n\nFacilitates onboarding sessions focused on culture, safety, and skills.\n\nAdministers written and hands-on skills assessments.\n\nManages DocuSign paperwork for new hires.\n\nSkills Training\nDelivers hands-on training modules for various classifications (e.g., conduit bending, MC cable installation, terminations).\n\nFacilitates basic skills training for new industry entrants, focusing on safe and proper tool/material use.\n\nLeads bootcamp-style sessions for sub-journeyman level employees.\n\nLeadership Development\nCoordinates and/or facilitates:\n\nForeman Development Series\n\nField supervision training\n\nApp-based and software-based training\n\nCustomizes training content to meet local needs.\n\nPromotes the Rosendin Field Operations Manual and internal processes.\n\nCoordinates with external consultants or vendors for specialized training.\n\nGeneral Workforce Development Support\nPromote Rosendin culture, core values, mission statement, and vision\n\nPursue & coordinate grant & training reimbursement opportunities\n\nPursue & coordinate continued education credits (for class participants) as available per location\n\nTrack & report training metrics as identified by corporate training or regional leadership\n\nCapture participant feedback on all trainings via survey\n\nCommunicate upcoming schedule & direction with corporate Learning & Development Team\n\nParticipate in personal continued education & development as identified by regional management & corporate Learning & Development management\n\nDevelop new training content as needed\n\nParticipate in peer reviews of newly developed or extensively modified content\n\nParticipate in scheduled Workforce Development meetings\n\nAssign (recommend) LinkedIn Learning paths & content to field employees\n\nCounsel & coach struggling field employees\n\nConnect field & office teams through joint training opportunities\n\nMay manage additional local training resources\n\nPromote a positive community presence\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nProven work experience in a training or similar role is preferred.\n\nUnderstanding of electrical construction and contracting.\n\nAbility to speak comfortably in front of a classroom audience.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to handle confidential information.\n\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills.\n\nAbility to analyze business and training needs for improvement.\n\nExperience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.\n\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nGenerally, requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience.\n\nRequires 6+ years of related experience.\n\nUnion experience is preferred.\n\nInstructional Design certification is preferred.\n\nPresentation skills are preferred.\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to 30%\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
