We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe L&D Trainer monitors the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results and typically reports to a manager. This is an intermediate level employee development role that has a more developed understanding of the business needs and/or increased subject matter expertise. Delivers company training programs and workshops to employees and managers. Training programs may typically include topics such as supervisory/management training, work skills training, team building, and communications.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nDelivers and develops training programs and existing program enhancements. Examples include, but not limited to, Rosendin Orientation & Onboarding Training, Core Clarity, Leadership training programs, Field leadership programs…etc.\n\nContributes to new training program design and existing program enhancements\n\nCollects feedback from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentations\n\nResponsible for classroom preparation and scheduling for classes\n\nAssists in the design and development of training programs, curriculum, methods, and materials for various audiences including employees, managers, customers, or other learners\n\nDevelops and creates lesson plans and training aids\n\nMay specialize in a particular subject, training program, or function of the company\n\nWorks on projects and/or matters of moderate complexity in a support role\n\nGains exposure to certain complex tasks within the job function\n\nAlthough work is managed an L&D Trainer works with some autonomy\n\nOccasionally directed in some aspects of the work\n\nProvides guidance to Associate L&D Trainers\n\nCoordinate and understand related content delivered by other departments\n\nParticipate in all extra-curricular activities that are related to L&D programs\n\nAvailable for all on site activities, programs, etc. related to training programs\n\nOther duties as required\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nIdeally as an L&D Trainer, proven work experience in a training or similar role is required\n\nUnderstanding of electrical construction and contracting\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to handle confidential information\n\nAbility to deescalate conflicts within the workplace\n\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\n\nAbility to analyze business and training needs for improvement\n\nExperience in developing and implementing training programs is required\n\nExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skills\n\nFlexibility to adapt to delays and changes to the program delivery schedule\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nGenerally requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience\n\nRequires 2-4 years of related experience\n\nUnion experience helpful\n\nExpected to be actively pursuing Instructional Design certification\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
