The Manager of Procurement executes procurement transactions, plans, prioritizes, assigns, supervises and reviews work of staff responsible for procurement including technical and specialized procurementofsupplies,equipment,andserviceswithintheirassignedregion.TheManager of Procurement is an integral part of the regional management team and interfaces with corporate procurement to advance objectives and initiatives.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nCORPORATE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nFacilitatetheupflowofregionalprojectestimates,bidandawardinformationtothe corporate procurement team for coordination with our national account partners\n\nFacilitateandcoordinategrouppurchaseswithinregionbetweendivisionsandcorporate\n\nFacilitatecorporateinitiativeswithregionalteammembersincludingprocurement,field,PM, estimating, and operational leadership staff\n\nREGIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupportlocalleadestimatoronlighting,gear,technicalmaterialpackages,andcommodities quotations\n\nWorkwithBusinessDevelopmenttoensureappropriatevendorsareengagedforbudgetingor design-build proposals\n\nReview and provide final sign off on Lump Sum Purchase Orders (gear, lighting, control, generator, etc.)reviewingtermsandconditionspriortovendorissuance,coordinatingpurchasewithcorporate procurement\n\nEvaluatesandcommunicatesnewproductintroductionstofield,PM,estimating,andoperational leadership staff coordinating presentations with manufacturers, reps, and distributors\n\nProvidesmarketproductdataincludingprice,availability,andmarkettrendinformationto operations team\n\nInterpretsandcommunicatesprocurement procedurestodepartments;assistsdepartmentsin initiating requisitions and orders and solves problems with orders\n\nResponsiblefordepartmentaladministrativeissuessuchasmaintaining/revisingpoliciesand procedures and reporting minority business participation\n\nRepresentsdepartmentatvariousmeetingswithmanagement,staff,vendors,externalagencies, professional organizations, and other groups\n\nDirect supervision of regional/divisional procurement department employees, including the conductingofeffectivepersonnelperformanceevaluationswhileprovidingmentorship,coaching, and training\n\nVENDOR RELATED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nServesasrelationshipmanagerforregionalvendorpartners(distributor,repagency,manufacturers, rental companies, OEMS, etc.)\n\nMaintainscontactwithvendorsregardingordersandmerchandise,newproducts,market conditions\n\nInterviewssalesrepresentativesandvendorstodevelopnewsourcesofsupplies,securingfavorable terms for Rosendin\n\nIdentifiesWMBEfirmsaspotential suppliers\n\nConfers with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and deliveryscheduleevaluatingthequalityandappropriatenessofsuppliesandequipment.Performs cost/quality comparisons prior to purchase\n\nPURCHASING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nPreparesanddistributescomplexandtechnicalbidinvitationsorrequestsforproposalincluding logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements as required;
