We'dlove to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe Project Manager I is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one large project supporting senior project management.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nPlan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.\n\nSupervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, planning, coordinating, circumventing/resolving problem areas, and maintaining all company/project policies, procedures, standards, etc.\n\nProvide project management expertise to establish initial client contact. This will include the assessment of the scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to complete a project successfully.\n\nResponsible for preparing a complete estimate for the selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and bid form.\n\nEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the guidelines of corporate policies.\n\nSupervise the preparation of all change orders on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.\n\nMonitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.\n\nInvestigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision.\n\nSupervise the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client and assist in negotiating all change quotations to a conclusion.\n\nPrepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.\n\nManage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with the client.\n\nReview any documentation prepared by Assistant Project Manager before submission.\n\nRepresent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Sr. Project Manager.\n\nThe duties and responsibilities describe this position's general nature and scope of work. This is a partial listing, and other responsibilities will be assigned based on the position’s role within the\n\nbusiness unit.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nAbility to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance\n\nEffective performance management skills\n\nExtensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Accubid and Oracle preferred\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as required for the position\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred\n\nMinimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role\n\nCan be a combination of training, education, and relevant work experience\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to 25%\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
