We'dlove to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe Project Manager II isa senior project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support to two to four concurrent projects of small to medium crew size or one to two concurrent projects of large crew size. This is a senior project management role with developed subject matter expertise and the capability to mentor and train other staff.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nMay train and provide direction to Project Assistant and/or Project Manager I in maintaining project-required tracking devices.\n\nPlan and organize a project under the direction of a Senior PM or Division Manager.\n\nParticipates in the supervision and training of Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I.\n\nEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within guidelines of corporate policies.\n\nNegotiate the terms and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.\n\nLiaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities\n\nUnder the direction of Project Manager III and/or Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.\n\nAnticipate, prevent, and resolve potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.\n\nRepresent the company in project meetings.\n\nDirect the preparation of all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a successful conclusion.\n\nPrepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.\n\nManage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest, and maintaina good relationship with the client.\n\nMay assist with the development of new business opportunities.\n\nThe duties and responsibilities describe this position's general nature and scope of work. This is a partial listing, and other responsibilities will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred\n\nMinimum 5years of experience in a project management role\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nEffective performance management\n\nExtensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oracle\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple asks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as required for the\n\nSelf-motivated,proactive, and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to 25%\n\n WORKING CONDITIONS:\nDue to the variety of work to be performed, the Sr. Project Manager may be working at a job site or in the office.\n\nGeneral work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
