We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe Project Manager III is a subject matter expert in project management and is responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of projects of variant scope. The Project Manager III has advanced expertise in complex projects of significant scope and responsibility as an individual contributor. This role is a recognized and seasoned resource/mentor for less senior project management roles.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nAct as a mentor to Project Assistants, Project Manager I, and/or Project Manager II as an individual contributor.\n\nEstablish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policies. Put these in clear, concise work statements for the field.\n\nNegotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project.\n\nPrincipal liaison with primary client and A/E to facilitate construction activities. Under the direction of the Sr. Project Manager, support construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure the project is being built on schedule and within budget.\n\nAnticipate and prevent potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.\n\nRepresent the company/project in meetings with clients, subcontractors, etc.\n\nPrepare monthly costing reports.\n\nManage the financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and maintain a good relationship with the client.\n\nDevelops new business opportunities.\n\nThe duties and responsibilities describe this position's general nature and scope of work. This is a partial listing, and other responsibilities will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or other related discipline preferred\n\nPE license a plus\n\nMinimum 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods required\n\nCan be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nProven experience mentoring and managing others\n\nBusiness development/heavy client interaction a plus\n\nUnderstand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.\n\nPerform duties in a professional manner and appearance\n\nExtensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle and Accubid preferred\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as required for the position\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to 25%\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - Due to the variety of work to be performed, the Sr. Project Manager may be working at a job site or in the office. General work environment - This position is performed primarily on active construction sites. Activity includes sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
