We'd love to have you as a shareholder!\nYOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:\nThe Senior Procurement Specialist isresponsibleforplanning, forecasting, logistics, purchasing, and releasing of commodity constructionmaterials, electrical equipment, lighting, andsupplies as assigned. TheSeniorProcurement Specialistprovides leadership, training,andmanagement as assigned.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nPrepares and distributes complex and technical bid invitations or requests for proposal including logistics, warehousing, kitting, and cutting and packaging requirements as required; receives, analyzes, and recommends approval of bids most advantageous to Rosendin.\n\nProcesses difficult and unique purchasing transactions according to state laws, federal statutes, policies, and procedures established by Rosendin.\n\nAssists departments with specification development, drafts RFP.\n\nReviews, analyzes and approves all purchases where award is not made to the low bidder to ensure justification exists and policy is followed. Reviews, analyzes, researches and approves purchases of a non-competitive nature.\n\nDiscusses defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of deficiency and take corrective action.\n\nandplanallaspectsof purchasingfromproject award to closeout.\n\ncompanyinnegotiatingcontractsandformulatingpolicieswithsuppliers andprofessionalserviceproviders.\n\nandoverseeexecutionof thepurchasingbuy-out.\n\nthemaintenanceofrecordsof goodsorderedandreceived.\n\nwithestimatingmanagement,designprofessionalsandsitemanagement.\n\nfeedbacktoassistinanalyzingmarketanddeliverysystemstoassesspresentandfuturematerialavailability.\n\nandenforceprocurementpoliciesandprocedurestoprojectteam.\n\nforprojections,financialplanning,expediting,deliveryschedulesandprojectpurchasingreporting.\n\nthedevelopmentandreviewof allprocurementanalytics,reportinganddeliverables.\n\nbeabletoprovidesupervisiontobuyer / expeditor when necessary.\n\ndutiesand responsibilitiesareintended todescribethegeneralnatureand scopeof workbeingperformedbythisposition.Thisisnota completelistingand other dutieswillbeassignedbasedontheposition'srolewithinthebusinessunit.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nThorough knowledge of electrical equipment and construction materials\n\nWorking knowledge of procurement techniques, procedures, policies and accounting\n\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; Must exhibit supervisory skills\n\nWork independently with minimum supervision\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle\n\nPrioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nWork under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nOral and written communication skills as required for the position\n\nSelf-motivated, proactive and an effective team player\n\nInteract effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management of related discipline\n\nMinimum 5 years electrical construction purchasing experience\n\nCombination of education, training and relevant experience\n\nTRAVEL:\nUp to %\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
