The Site Superintendent communicates on a regular basis with the Superintendent and Subcontractor Divisions regarding projects, project timelines, and project startups and staffing required.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO:\nMeets on a regular basis with the Superintendent and subcontractors to co-ordinate the standardization of processes and resolution of mutual concerns.\n\nWorks with the Superintendent and Project Manager staff in the establishment of new hiring processes and procedures for field personnel.\n\nAssist scheduling and coordination of material to ship to job site.\n\nOversee and ensure that all projects in specific area are completed to forecast\n\nOversees the Safety Program and assures that all Safety Standards are being met and maintained.\n\nEnsure that the Field Staff comply to pertinent government regulations and contract documents.\n\nAssist Superintendent field staffing that will meet or exceed the project timelines and budgets in conjunction with the Director of Production.\n\nAssist with coordination of Tools/Equipment Manager regarding tools and inventory as required for projects.\n\nManages the Production and Field Staffing Team for a specific area. Assist in the direction, coordination, and evaluation of the field staff.\n\nAssists in the interviewing, hiring, and training of the Field Staff and the support staff.\n\nAssists in the development of training programs for Field Staffing that ensures our Company excellence.\n\nConducts area Production and Field Staff meetings when required.\n\nPayroll and Production tracking\n\nThe duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing and other duties will be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.\n\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nStrong persuasive and interpersonal skills\n\nAbility to identify and meet customer’s needs, expectations and requirements\n\nDemonstrates expertise in commercial electrical field management, design and contracting\n\nMust be a self-starter and a problem solver\n\nMust be capable of managing multiple tasks under time constraints\n\nMust possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists\n\nFamiliarity with team-building techniques\n\nProficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred\n\nAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary\n\nAbility to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude\n\nEffective oral and written communication skills as required for the position\n\nAbility to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player\n\nAbility to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others\n\nWHAT YOU BRING TO US:\nMinimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in similar facility, construction technology, methods and equipment, tools and work procedures required\n\nCan be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience\n\nTRAVEL:\nTravel Based Position Up to 25%\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nGeneral work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.
