You’ll work closely with interdisciplinary experts and global partners to deliver real-world solutions with measurable impact.\n\nJob Description:\nAbout the role\nThis is a blended, intermediate-level role that combines human resources and health, safety and environment (HSE) support. You will be the main point of contact between operations, supervisors and management, so that people-related and safety-related matters are captured, documented and followed up correctly. The role suits a hands-on generalist who likes variety and wants to grow with a technology company in an industrial setting.\nWhat you'll do: Human Resources\nCoordinate recruitment: post jobs, screen resumes, schedule interviews, complete reference and background checks, and prepare offer letters\nManage onboarding and offboarding, including new-hire paperwork, orientation, probation tracking, exit interviews, and Records of Employment\nMaintain personnel files and HRIS data, and process employee changes, leaves, and employment letters\nSupport payroll each pay period and administer benefits enrollment and inquiries\nCoordinate the performance review cycle and track training and certifications\nSupport employee relations by documenting meetings and preparing correspondence\nEnsure compliance with Alberta Employment Standards and human rights legislation\nPrepare HR reports and metrics, and coordinate engagement and recognition activities\nCoordinate IT access for new and departing employees (accounts, email, software, hardware and access cards) with the IT team, and request access changes when roles change\nCoordinate employee training, including new-hire onboarding training, mandatory safety and compliance training, and job-specific and professional development courses\nWhat you'll do: Health, Safety & Environment\nAdminister and maintain our health and safety management system in line with the Alberta OHS Act, Regulation, and Code\nDeliver safety orientations for new employees, contractors, and visitors\nConduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and job safety analyses\nLead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking\nManage WCB Alberta claims and coordinate return-to-work and modified duties\nMaintain safety training records and schedule renewals, including WHMIS, First Aid, and equipment-specific training\nManage Safety Data Sheets and PPE programs, including respiratory protection and fit testing, among others\nSupport the Joint Health and Safety Committee: organize meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items\nSupport environmental compliance, including waste handling, spill response, and emergency response plans and drills\nPrepare for and support safety audits, including COR certification\nTrack and report safety statistics and leading and lagging indicators\nHelp with contractor safety pre-qualification and customer HSE prequalification platforms\nWhat you'll do: Compliance and Coordination\nSupport the development, review and maintenance of HR and HSE policies, procedures and the employee handbook\nAct as a key on-site point of contact between operations, supervisors and management on HR and safety matters\nMake sure people-related and safety-related issues are captured, documented, followed up and closed\nWork with external partners, such as the benefits provider, WCB, the CRA, training providers and recruiters\nTo join the Rosenxt family, you will bring:\nA diploma or degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety, Business Administration, or a related field\n3+ years of combined experience in HR and HSE coordination\nA CPHR designation (or progress toward one), and an NCSO or CRSP designation, are assets\nWorking knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards, the OHS Act, and WCB processes\nExperience in a manufacturing, industrial coatings, or similar environment with hands-on safety exposure\nValid First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certifications\nExperience with HRIS systems and strong MS Office skills\nExcellent organization, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information\nStrong communication skills, with the confidence to coach on safety and the ability to build trust with employees at all levels\nHands-on experience running Canadian payroll in-house (including source deductions, remittances, ROEs and T4s)\nA Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification from the National Payroll Institute (an asset)\nThe ability to manage several priorities in a fast-paced environment\nThe ability to work on your own and with teams across the company\nA proactive, solution-oriented mindset\n\nOur Offer:\nAt Rosenxt Canada, we offer an exceptional working environment where innovation, collaboration, and personal growth are at the forefront.
