You’ll be responsible for leading and managing the QC Analytical staff, ensuring delivery of required work to the highest standards.\nWhile this position will involve working standard working hours, you may be required on some occasions to support the shift team with out-of-hours cover. Additional duties will include:\nSchedule testing and documentation activities to ensure production and business needs are met efficiently and results reported in due time.\n\nEnsure that testing is conducted according to procedures and that results comply with set specifications.\n\nSupport the review and approval of GMP documentation including but not limited to assay data, Change Control, Validation Protocol/Reports and Risk Assessment.\n\nLead and support investigation associated to Deviation and Out of Specification and associated RCA and CAPA.\n\nLead or participate in continuous Quality improvement initiatives in line with the vision of the department.\n\nMentor, motivate and empower personnel within the team to implement changes successfully.\n\nSchedule and support training and identify skill gaps to develop the team’s technical capabilities.\n\nConduct regular 1:1 and performance review with direct reports.\n\nProvide regular status updates to the QC Manager on performance, risks, and resource constraints; escalate serious/potentially serious compliance issues immediately\n\nEnsure good working relationships with each customer by supporting meetings and written correspondence.\n\nAbout you\nMinimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience in a QC analytical laboratory within a GMP environment.\n\nExceptional leadership qualities, communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to take decisions, analyse information in a logical manner and to prepare coherent investigative and/or technical reports.\n\nStrong experience in presenting to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nIT proficient, particularly with MS Office and an electronic quality management system.\n\nFlow cytometry experience would be desirable.\n\nQualifications\nA relevant post-graduate degree or an equivalent professional qualification.\n\nNext Steps\nIf this sounds like you, then please hit ‘Apply’ now.
